Journey – what does it mean ?

We come across so many travel blogs, we read people sharing their trip to amazing places. You too must have read Travelers writing about a place that would have made their heads thoughtful enough to keep them busy writing their feelings and emotions about that place.

But if you look closely, you would find one very important thing common that every one in their Travel Article would have talked about.

Which is their  “Journey”.

Now before we begin  with our article, we need to know what exactly a Journey is?!

Well…. seeking help from our life saving companion, MR. GOOGLE, this is what he tells us.

Google's meaning for Journey.

Google’s meaning for Journey.

“Journey is an act of travelling from one place to another. “

Okay. Okay. Here comes the difference between us and our very favorite Mr. Google.

 Lack of Experience.

and it’s very simple to understand why.

See, our experiences have created a room completely filled of emotions when we hear that one word, which obviously a simple definition cannot explain. Here, I won’t consider a mode of transportation as a build up for the emotions that arise, a mere vehicle doesn’t restrict our feelings.

A journey is what gives us a break from our normal routine lives, a life where we work endlessly like a robot without feelings, a journey is exactly what brings those feelings back.
There always is a point where we feel that this shouldn’t end. For an end would mean an end to our freedom , the freedom we started giving to our emotions. When we had allowed ourselves to look at the sky, the moon, the waves, down the hill and smile or cry or laugh without any reason. Because no one owes an explanation.
Leaving behind the worries of yesterday we travel back to our childhood, the same excitement, the same enjoyment and our carefree attitude.

A gentle kiss from the breeze erodes the volcano of emotions from our hearts, a volcano which was quiet for long, long enough for us to forget our real selves.

A Journey helps us find the lost us. The person we were, which the world did not allow us to be.

journey - Prasher lake, Mandi

“Was searching for my smile
In all corners and cupboards at home
Cause my shoulders couldn’t take more of world’s load
Little did I know
Would find that in the rain
On a dark road.”

All that a journey gives us cannot be explained but yes a few of them will always be mentioned.

First comes the food, Cheers to the foodies because a journey is always going to offer you lots of food with a different touch of culture and love.

Meeting different people from different cultures, languages, religious beliefs, always adds to your knowledge, ideas and creativity in any way possible. It makes you diversify your imaginations.

After all who want to live a life without adventures and excitement?

Travel the road less taken. And then you’ll know what you hold within.

I hope you would agree to this that we all need stories to tell to our grandchildren, right?
Exactly!

We all need memories that we would love to cherish at our old age.

“Sitting on my armchair
With wrinkled hand
I hold my album of life
Someone bring a magic wand?
And please help me travel back?”

A Journey help in your physical and mental well being. It brings out our emotions, makes us feel content with life, lets us know what we actually are from within. On top of all It beings us Happiness, a long search for this one simple word ends with the start of another word called Journey.

All we can say is a journey is always a combination of emotions and feelings that cannot be explained but experienced, so let’s travel, maybe  Travel the Blue.

The more you Travel,

the more knowledgeable you become.
